CentroGeo is a Public Research and Educational Center supported by the
Mexican National Science Foundation (CONACYT). To maintain international
competitiveness, the top priorities of centrogeo include providing
theoretical and applied solutions to the increasingly complex
problems that characterize our modern societies, through the
generation, transmission and application of knowledge in the fields
of Geomatics and contemporary Geography.
CentroGeo recognizes in its strategic objectives the need to strengthen
educational resources in GISc. The aforementioned implying that our active
participation in forming those profesional resources, needed to execute our
mission and its future vision, is an absolute requirement.
As we designed the necesary strategies for the developmment of competitive
human resources, we established the following strategic goals:

Generation of a critical mass of qualified
people in the application of Geomatics

Formation of researchers to be incorporated to CentroGeo for the development of
specific projects within basic and applied research and technological innovation.
In the strongest possible way, our postgraduate geomatics program represents
our firm and resolved comittment to the education of graduate students of the
highest academic level.
